Living in Vancouver.
Living in the City of Vancouver means downtown towers, character homes on the west side and lively east side streets, all in one city.
Why people choose the City of Vancouver.
Vancouver isn't one market, it's dozens. A one-bedroom in Yaletown, a duplex in Mount Pleasant and a family home in Kerrisdale all behave differently, and values can change a lot from one block to the next.
- SkyTrain, buses and bike lanes across the city
- Stanley Park, the beaches and the seawall
- Every type of home, from downtown condos to character houses
- Neighbourhoods that change in price and feel block by block

01
Should I buy a condo or a house in Vancouver?
It depends on your budget, the space you need and your plans. Condos give you location and transit, houses give you land and room to grow. We can compare both on real numbers.
02
What should I check before buying a condo?
The strata documents: the depreciation report, the contingency fund, the minutes and any upcoming repairs or special levies. I go through them with you before you commit.
03
Are there extra taxes on homes in Vancouver?
Homes left empty may be subject to the City's Empty Homes Tax and BC's Speculation and Vacancy Tax. Most people who live in their home are exempt, but there are declarations to make each year.
04
Which City of Vancouver neighbourhoods suit families?
Many families look at Kerrisdale, Dunbar, Kitsilano and the east side for schools, parks and houses. We will match neighbourhoods to your budget and commute.
