Accessibility
Accessibility statement.
A website that everyone can use, on any device.
Last reviewed: October 19, 2026
I want everyone to be able to use this website, find a home and get in touch, whatever device or tools they use. The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What is in place
- Keyboard friendly. Every link, button, menu and form works with a keyboard. The Areas and Tools menus open with the Enter or Down Arrow key, the region list uses the arrow keys, and Escape closes the menu.
- Skip to content. A "Skip to content" link is the first thing on every page, so you can jump past the menu.
- Visible focus. A clear outline shows where you are on the page.
- Readable text and colour. Text and buttons are designed for good contrast, and the site still works when you zoom in to 200%.
- Less motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, animations are turned off and background videos do not autoplay. Every background video also has a pause button.
- Images. Photos that share information have text descriptions. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Forms. Every field has a label, and errors are explained in words right under the field, not only with colour.
- Works on every screen. The site adapts to phones, tablets and desktops.
Known limitations
- Maps are visual. The office address and directions are always written next to the map, and each area guide lists its key places in text.
- Videos in the page headers are decorative and have no speech. The same information is always in the text on the page.
- Content from other services, such as YouTube, Google and social media, is not fully under my control and may not meet every standard.
